Temporary School Social Worker

Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Temporary School Social Worker to provide educational, psychological, and social development support to students in assigned classes/caseloads. The temporary Social Worker will be responsible for developing and implementing intervention and prevention programs, participating in problem-solving teams, and providing counseling services to students.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in social work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
• Valid license or credential issued by the state licensing board with the appropriate endorsement(s) for the role
• Completion of the CPS online application and teaching profile at cps.edu/teach
