Chief of Staff

Chicago Public Media is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as the right hand to the Editor-in-Chief, managing journalistic content, high-level project management, multi-platform strategic initiatives, and operational oversight.

Requirements

• 8+ years in editorial operations, leadership, consulting, or operational roles
• Strategic planning experience with digital, audio, and visual platforms
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and project management experience
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in storytelling and newsroom leadership
• Familiarity with the Chicago region is a plus
