Job Description
The Classroom Substitute will assist in maintaining a safe, healthy, supervised, and developmentally appropriate program in an early childhood setting, focusing on intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, managing interactions, and utilizing technology. This role is a temporary assignment within the organization.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Current Health Appraisal and updated every two years
- Childcare Division Enrollment
- Education / Equivalent Experience (45-hour coursework completion or equivalent)
- 1+ year experience in early childhood setting
- Competencies: effective teacher-child interactions, planning and monitoring child outcomes
