Family Educator

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Educator to support families in raising healthy, happy, and successful children. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and best practices in education and social services.

Requirements

• Conduct weekly home visits to build stable and reliable relationships with families
• Respond to family-identified needs and help them gain access to community resources
• Partner with families in their goal-setting process to advance family well-being
• Use research-backed curricula and parent input to develop age-appropriate lesson plans for children
• Maintain high-quality documentation regarding actions with families
• Plan and participate in center PLAY Groups to support socialization and program involvement for the whole family unit
• Attend trainings and meetings to advance professional skills and team cohesion
