Job Description
Seeking Education Facilitators to conduct parent education groups in an office, classroom setting. The program is a family-centered curriculum designed to foster positive parenting skills and self-nurturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in human services; or equivalent education and/or experience, required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Strong parenting skills, with the ability to coach on these skill areas.
- Strong communication skills.
- Technically proficient in Microsoft Office, (Word, PowerPoint,) Outlook, and virtual platforms such as Zoom.
- Ability to learn new technology and online systems quickly.
- Experience with virtual/online teaching, preferred.
- Understanding of the adult learner.
- Previous experience working with culturally diverse groups, desired.
- Experience in group facilitation, preferred.
- Ability to respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the agency’s service population.
