Job Description
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for managing one or more defined areas of organized nursing services, participating in planning and implementation of operations, and supervising staff. The Nurse Manager will also be accountable for nursing services 24/7, manage budgets, and regulatory readiness and staffing.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of JCAHO and other regulatory agency requirements
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Expertise in the area of specialty
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Registered Nurse in District of Columbia (Required)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) (Required)
