Job Description
At Children’s Wisconsin, we believe kids deserve the best. We are seeking a Supervisor, Patient Care for a night shift role on our pediatric unit. The successful candidate will have experience in advance supervision and proficiency in caring for complex pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Supervise patient care activities on assigned shift and assign care of patients to staff nurses and nursing assistants.
- Perform human resources responsibilities for staff, including coaching on performance, completing performance reviews, and recommending hiring and terminations.
- Act as clinical resource to unit staff members and communicate and escalate significant clinical issues to leadership.
