Job Description
The Direct Care Professional provides a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for program participants, teaching them to achieve attainable goals regarding social behavior, skills of daily living, and education. They also provide intensive family engagement and community support to prevent future crises.
Requirements
- Provide constant supervision to program participants
- Facilitate group skill building activities
- Monitor skills of daily living and complete necessary paperwork
- Prepare and serve meals
- Assume telephone and driving duties
- Maintain a presentable living environment
- Attend all meetings and training programs
- Enforce agency rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Complete routine pre-employment requirements
