Job Description
Under the direction of the TIC Sprouts Site Supervisor, the Teacher Aide is responsible for the daily care and supervision of students, including creating a favorable group climate, providing childcare and supervision, and meeting the health and personal hygiene needs of minors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Twelve Early Childhood Education (ECE) units from an accredited college or university required
- Previous experience working with children in a therapeutic setting preferred
- Must possess a valid California Driver’s License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass First Aid certification course before start of employment
- Must pass CPR (within the first six weeks of employment), Bloodborne Pathogens, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification courses within the first three months of employment
