Job Description
Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting immigrant and refugee communities in Elgin, IL. They offer after-school programs, summer camps, mentoring, and ESL classes, along with case management services and caregiver support. The Program Coordinator will provide administrative support for in-home services clients, managing schedules, and assisting with communication with care aides and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong knowledge of multiple Google platforms and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Working knowledge of technological equipment and software
- Bilingual in English and an Asian language (Lao, Thai, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Burmese, etc.) or Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience working with immigrant and refugee communities is strongly preferred
