A Machine Operator is responsible for learning to operate and maintain multiple machines, ensuring safety and operation according to standardized procedures, maintaining accurate production records, and troubleshooting minor issues. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of related experience, and a mechanical aptitude.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Pallet Jack Certification
- Experience within the food and beverage industry is preferred
- Ability to work in a wet environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to abide by all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background)
