Process Engineer I/II

The Process Engineer I/II will support the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes across Chobani's operations. The role will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Automation, and Engineering teams to support process improvements, equipment optimization, troubleshooting, and startup activities.

Requirements

• Support process engineering activities related to dairy and beverage manufacturing systems
• Assist with troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across processing operations
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Automation teams to improve process reliability, efficiency, and product quality
• Support equipment startups, commissioning activities, and plant trials as needed
• Help develop and maintain process documentation, specifications, SOPs, and engineering standards
• Participate in engineering projects from concept through execution and startup
• Assist with process calculations including pumps, piping, flow rates, heat transfer, and general fluid systems
• Work with equipment vendors and cross-functional teams to support manufacturing improvements
• Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for process optimization and performance improvement
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and build collaborative relationships with operations teams
