The Branch Manager is responsible for business development, sales, and branch operations, including coaching and supervising staff, and implementing bank policy. They will also have lending authority and work with the Commercial Lending and Business Development team to serve complex customer relationships.
Requirements
- Create a friendly and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
- Manage a portfolio of high value retail and business customers.
- Lead the team in referring customers to other areas of the bank.
- Motivate your team to provide superior customer service and to resolve customer issues.
- Proactively drive sales through community outreach, outside calling, and referrals from customers and other partners.
- Leverage the Bank’s tools and technology to drives sales and service.
- Educate your team on all products, services, technology and policies.
- Maintain an active role in the community and develop key business and community relationships.
- Manage the overall operations of the branch and ensure adherence to all Bank Policies.
- Back-up tellers and bankers as needed.
- Be familiar with and comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position.
- Complete all required reports related to those acts and reports any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer.
- Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable.
- Supervises multiple staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, and disciplining employees.
