Athletic Coach - Middle School Cheer

The Assistant Coach is responsible for the administration of the middle school cheer program, discipling and mentoring student-athletes, and leading a program that reflects the highest standards of conduct and CAK's core values.

Requirements

• A spiritually sensitive individual who understands the mission and philosophy of the school
• A born-again Christian with spiritual maturity and leadership abilities
• Ability to communicate well with various types of people
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude and integrity in all situations
• Executing a consistent and unbiased participant tryout opportunity
• Developing and implementing an intentional plan of student athlete discipleship
• Providing appropriate training, discipline, and coaching that leads to a highly competitive program
• Communicating proactively with student-athletes and parents/guardians regarding expectations, camps, practices, and game schedules
• Attending all games (both home and away) continuing through the conclusion of any post-season tournament(s)
• Set up facilities in preparation for practice, games, and events
• CPR, AED, First Aid certification
• Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the TSSAA
• Complies with and supports all CAK policies
