The Assistant Coach is responsible for the administration of the middle school cheer program, discipling and mentoring student-athletes, and leading a program that reflects the highest standards of conduct and CAK's core values.
Requirements
- A spiritually sensitive individual who understands the mission and philosophy of the school
- A born-again Christian with spiritual maturity and leadership abilities
- Ability to communicate well with various types of people
- Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude and integrity in all situations
- Executing a consistent and unbiased participant tryout opportunity
- Developing and implementing an intentional plan of student athlete discipleship
- Providing appropriate training, discipline, and coaching that leads to a highly competitive program
- Communicating proactively with student-athletes and parents/guardians regarding expectations, camps, practices, and game schedules
- Attending all games (both home and away) continuing through the conclusion of any post-season tournament(s)
- Set up facilities in preparation for practice, games, and events
- CPR, AED, First Aid certification
- Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the TSSAA
- Complies with and supports all CAK policies
