Job Description
The Safety Team Coordinator helps ensure safe staffing and smooth operations at program sites operated by Church at the Park (C@P). This role requires following all organizational protocols, maintaining accurate records, and helping create a respectful, supportive, and equitable workplace for vulnerable populations.
Requirements
- Two years (2) experience in social services or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Oregon DPSST Basic Unarmed Security License
- Knowledge of and experience using trauma-informed care principles
- Demonstrate and experience mediating situations involving people with escalated behavior
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Oregon driver's license
- Must have been a licensed driver for at least 3 years
- Must have a driving record that qualifies for coverage under Church at the Park's insurance
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to pass all background check requirements set by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training
