This position is an entry support level individual contributor that supports administrative and secretarial needs for different groups of our operations teams. Assistant typically is a first point of contact for the area and works with a team of other assistants to provide support/service.
Requirements
- Answers both internal and external phone calls and directs to appropriate department as necessary
- Corresponds and works with MTC employees and ecclesiastical staff, MTC and church departments, missionaries, and general public
- Oversees inventory of various things (keys, missionary materials, office supplies, mtc vehicles, etc.) and orders supplies as needed
- Assists missionaries (check in, materials, schedules, travel arrangements, legal documents, emergencies, etc.)
- Receives, packages and ships materials for missionaries
- Organizes and reviews missionary information/items in preparation for arrival to MTC or departure from MTC and arrival at mission
- Facilitates travel arrangements and itineraries for missionaries
- Tracks important missionary information
- Assists in making adjustments for missionary schedule/travel changes
