Associate Portfolio Manager, Income Producing Properties, National Industry Programs

We are seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to support the credit underwriting process for commercial lending within CIBC's Commercial Banking Diversified team. The role focuses on credit analysis, risk assessment, and the preparation of credit submissions for review by Risk Management.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial credit underwriting, portfolio management, or related financial analysis roles (approximately 2-3 years)
• Degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, deal structuring, and regulatory frameworks in commercial lending
• Analytical thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
