Civil Manager

The Civil Manager is responsible for acting as a liaison between the Pre-Construction and Development departments for two to four urban and/or cottage projects at any given time. The role involves reviewing and being familiar with development agreements, architect agreements, and local building codes and regulations. The Civil Manager will engage with local Land-Use Attorney for recommendations and identify and solicit proposals from consulting engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and addressing project needs
• Experience with urban and/or cottage projects
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
