Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or business; MBA preferred.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in electro-optical and mechanical telecom products and associated supply chains.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Onspring; knowledge of Power BI and Alteryx is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical skills and ability to synthesize information concisely.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills to drive cost reduction initiatives effectively.
• Availability to travel 5–10% of the time.
• Nice to Haves: Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation.
• Familiarity with Ciena’s Wavelogic portfolio and telecommunications industry.
• Experience with tools like Alteryx for data analytics and visualization.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in budgeting and financial forecasting related to product cost reduction.
• Strong communication skills for presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
