Job Description
The Defense Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for creating manufacturing methods and sequences for intricate and complex machined parts and assemblies, providing manufacturability input and manufacturing plans, and leading continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- 3D modeling experience is a plus
- Experience working in ERP business system, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD or Solid Edge or similar design software experience is required
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as part drawings, assembly drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
