Join Citi as a Client Onboarding Senior Analyst and become part of a global financial institution responsible for account opening, account maintenance, and onboarding of cash management products across the Citibank treasury and trade product suite. The role requires engagement with clients and internal stakeholders to coordinate the full documentation cycle, manage complex projects, and deliver excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Responsible for customer interaction, documentation issuance, review and system setups
- Focus on timely and accurate delivery of all account opening functions, as well as delivering excellent customer service and resolution of customer issues
- Perform day to day management of account opening and maintenance processing, including daily management of in-process, pended, and service related activities
- Accountable for various types of project management in the account services space and for managing cross-functional relationships with all teams
- Determine new work procedures and analyze complex and variable issues with significant departmental impact
- Understand client requirements and ensure adequate support to new customer requirements and initiatives
- Monitor customer satisfaction and service levels and drive process changes; provide innovative solutions to clients, ensure a strong and robust processing environment with effective controls
- Establish risk management practices and maintain a culture of risk and controls within the team through various processes and checkpoints; identify means to reduce transaction defects (internal and external)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of diligence, motivation, and organizational skills
- Project management skills, including financial cost management skills, will be an advantage
- Advanced execution skills in a prioritization mode combined with capability to achieve business objectives without compromising on controls and risk parameters
- Strong investigative and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Able to partner with businesses and other support functions at senior levels in setting strategy and priorities, to thrive under pressure and convert risk into opportunity
- Readiness to work during public holidays on a rotational basis
- 5-8 years of experience in documentation review, account maintenance, additionally cash products experience will be an asset
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken); additionally proficient knowledge of any other European language is a strong plus (written and spoken)
