Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst

The Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst will oversee the execution of Data Governance Policy, Data Governance Standards, and Risk Data Aggregation Standard through BCBS 239 assessment framework. The role involves identifying and reporting gaps impacting risk data aggregation and regulatory reporting. The team collaborates closely with Enterprise Data Leads, Risk & Finance Reporting Teams, Technology & Architecture teams, Internal Audit (IA), Operational Risk (ORM), and Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Management, or Information Systems required
• Experience working on Regulatory implementation (BCBS 239 ideally) or other similar regulations around data aggregation, Data Governance
• Technical Skills: Tableau Dashboard experience required and additional Tableau Prep desired
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical skills to decompose complex business problems, identify underlying causes, and propose effective, data-driven solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both business and technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders (e.g., risk managers, finance controllers, IT developers).
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in BRDs and other documentation.
