Power Analyst

The Power Analyst is a mid-senior level position responsible for overseeing the fundamental and analytical needs of the European Power desk.

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience in a Power fundamental analyst role with deep fundamental knowledge of European markets (mainly CWE, SEE, UK)
• Knowledge of European power stack from a flow based market coupling perspective
• Knowledge of hydro optimisation modelling, nuclear modulation modelling, wind/solar and residual demand modelling
• Able to build from scratch a European power stack (Python/C)
• Create a fundamental central database and dashboard with visualisation
• Strong coding skills, data analytics knowledge
