The City and County of Denver is seeking a top-notch, highly dedicated Permanency Social Case Worker to join the Child Welfare Services division working with young adults in the Foster Youth in Transition (FYIT) program at Denver Human Services.
Requirements
- Currently or recently working with youth as a certified social caseworker
- Is able to develop relationships with youth and identify their strengths and opportunities for improvement
- Is comfortable working within the juvenile court system and with youth who may have had involvement with the Juvenile Justice System
- Expresses the aptitude to allow the youth to lead their case plans and establish their goals
- Is resourceful and organized with the ability to follow through with commitments and understand the needs of this population
