Job Description
Working as a Park Seasonal Laborer with the City and County of Denver means performing routine landscaping and park maintenance duties in support of Denverâs urban parks system. This is an on-call position, with competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Work outdoors in parks using and maintaining various hand-powered tools and motorized equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform landscaping and park maintenance duties such as turf maintenance, irrigation, ornamental/garden maintenance, infrastructure maintenance and repair, and snow removal operations
- Interact with and learn alongside more seasoned park maintenance generalists and/or specialists
- Perform various related duties as needed such as trash collection, bathroom maintenance and cleaning, vandalism repair/graffiti removal
