Job Description
Denver Parks and Recreation is seeking a seasonal worker for the Denver Mountain Parks Operations and Facility Management program. The successful candidate will work outdoors in parks using hand-powered tools and motorized equipment, assist with facility and campground maintenance, and develop a wide variety of general maintenance and landscaping skills.
Requirements
- Work outdoors in parks using and maintaining various hand-powered tools and motorized equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist with general facility and campground maintenance
- Perform landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, pruning, brushing, rock work, and trail maintenance
- Perform infrastructure maintenance and repair such as fencing, asphalt, concrete, road work, and erosion control
- Assist with grading and maintaining parking lots and gravel roads
- Interact with and learn alongside more seasoned park maintenance generalists and/or specialists
