Summer Camp Manager I

The Summer Camp Manager I plans, organizes and administers the City Recreational Summer Camp under direction of facility manager. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a City Recreational Summer Camp at the campsite, including directing the food service, maintenance, recreation, administration, and medical services.

Requirements

• Assists in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for a Summer Camp
• Plans, organizes and directs the operation of the camp administrative, recreation programs, food service, maintenance and medical care functions
• Ensures compliance of camp facilities and activities to pertinent codes, regulations and guidelines
• Assists in the development of policy and implements procedures to ensure the health and safety of campers and camp staff
