Job Description
Inspects residential and commercial building construction to ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations. Performs field inspections, reviews plans and specifications, and verifies quality of workmanship and materials used.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Five year's journeyman/foreman-level experience in building trades, and electrical, mechanical, and plumbing installation
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- State certification as a Plumbing Inspector within one year of hire
- International Code Council (ICC) Combination Inspector certification (preferred)
