Job Description
The City of Edmonton is looking for a Project Planner (Planner I) to join the Service Support and Implementation (SSI) team. The successful candidate will provide technical and analytical support for the development and implementation of policies and ensure the successful execution of high-priority projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in urban planning, land use planning, project support, project management, data analysis, and reporting
- Knowledge and understanding of planning legislation and municipal regulatory requirements
- Proficient in project management principles, including scope definition and timeline management
- Skilled in gathering, interpreting, and analyzing complex data to support decision-making
- Expertise in drafting formal reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and presentations
