Job Description
Meter Service Worker is a journey level position responsible for connecting and disconnecting electric and water utility services, using various tools and equipment, and interacting with customers in an effective and courteous manner.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- 2 years of experience in a utility meter services operation
- Good verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of electric and water meters
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Physical ability to walk for extended periods and work in all weather conditions
