The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County is seeking a Trial Preparation Assistant, Level II to assist Appeals Bureau Assistant District Attorneys with post-conviction matters.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above;
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 above
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college required by the state
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
- Ability to work independently and effectively under deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with court staff, agency staff, and external agency staff
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Desire to contribute to the success of the Appeals Bureau
