Job Description
The New York City Law Department is seeking Assistant Corporation Counsel to provide legal representation to the City of New York. Attorneys will engage in day-to-day work of state and federal court litigation, including drafting motions, conducting depositions, and appearing in court.
Requirements
- Graduate of ABA-approved law school
- Admitted to practice law in New York State or in the process of becoming admitted
- Commitment to the public sector and aptitude for litigation
- Demonstrated interest in the type of law of the division that they are applying to
