Job Description
The Bronx District Attorney's Office is seeking a Deputy Bureau Chief for the General Crimes Bureau. The successful candidate will have 7+ years of significant felony trial experience and exceptional investigative acumen. They will provide strategic oversight of investigations, guide attorneys, and personally handle complex cases. The Deputy Bureau Chief will also mentor and train junior attorneys, foster a supportive learning environment, and contribute to operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree
- 7+ years of significant felony trial experience
- Proven ability to manage complex legal issues
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong organizational and administrative capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership presence
- Demonstrated patience, professionalism, and ability to teach and develop others
- Ability to motivate, organize, and direct attorneys and professional staff
- Sound judgment, discretion, and high ethical standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
