Job Description
The Graphic Design Deputy will assist in generating digital content that represents Mayoral policy and its impact on everyday New Yorkers. The role involves assisting with daily social media content creation for multiple platforms and voices, with a special focus on the @nycgov, @nycmayor, and @nycmayorsoffice Instagram channels.
Requirements
- Lead and execute comprehensive visual design strategies for citywide initiatives
- Develop and maintain brand consistency across municipal communications and campaigns
- Spearhead creative direction for marketing initiatives and public outreach programs
- Manage and coordinate complex design projects from concept to completion
- Create visual solutions for print, digital, and multimedia platforms
- Oversee content calendar and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables
- Present design concepts to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure all materials meet accessibility standards and municipal guidelines
