Job Description
The Special Counsel will provide legal guidance to the Police Department, serve as a key advisor to the Deputy Commissioner, Legal Matters, and represent the DCLM in key meetings.
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience subsequent to admission to any bar
- 18 months of experience in the supervision of other attorneys in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity, or performing highly complex and significant legal work
