Job Description
The Director, Water Facilities and Treatment Services is responsible for the safety, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance of the City's drinking water, wastewater, and pumping systems. They are accountable for establishing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive risk management and assurance framework and providing vision and leadership to the Service.
Requirements
- 4 year university degree in Engineering or another related field
- Masters Degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in industrial or municipal water treatment and/or wastewater operations
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
- French language proficiency (oral, reading)
- English language proficiency (oral, reading, writing)
