Job Description
The Water Distribution Branch manages the operation and maintenance of City of Ottawa’s water distribution system. The Labourer, Water Distribution will provide manual labour to support other Unit or Branch staff with the inspection, operation, maintenance and repair of Water Services infrastructure.
Requirements
- Completion of Grade 10
- Minimum of 2 months of related experience
- Valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulated
- Ability to complete all required on-the-job training/certifications (e.g. WHMIS, fall arrest, confined space entry, etc.) within the timeframe determined by the employer.
