The Surveys and Mapping Unit provides corporate Legal Surveys and mapping services in support of the City’s planning, development, and infrastructure operations and to enable all City-led construction projects.
Requirements
- Completion of 3 year community college diploma in Geomatics or a related discipline with a concentration in Legal Surveys
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in survey and mapping data compilation
- Certification as Survey Technologist by Association of Ontario Land Surveyors is an asset
- Knowledge of Ontario statutes and regulations relating to surveys and plans
- Knowledge of the Ontario Land Registration System
- Knowledge of Ontario Cadastral Survey fabric
