Job Description
The Plumbing Inspector position is responsible for reviewing plumbing construction plans, conducting on-site inspections, and providing technical guidance to ensure compliance with the Michigan Plumbing Code and applicable City codes. The employee participates in pre-construction meetings and provides code guidance to the public.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- ACT 407 Plumbing Inspector/Plan Examiner registration from the State of Michigan
- Experience in plumbing inspection
- Valid Michigan Driver's license
- Proactive, public service attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
