Responsible for a full range of professional duties including research, data management, analysis, contribution to proposal development; preparation of staff reports and documents while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- Compose correspondence and staff reports for the Historic Preservation Board, Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council
- Implements the City’s historic preservation ordinance and promotes preservation efforts through designation of local historic landmarks and the heritage marker program
- Evaluates adequacy of City’s housing in meeting current and projected needs; recommends priorities, schedules, and funding sources to implement improvements
- Prepares reports, projects, and exhibits as directed
- Acts as Project Manager for land use case files
- Assists with building permit review of new land development projects to ensure compliance with various City ordinances
