Recreation Aquatics-Lifeguard 1

We're looking for responsible and enthusiastic lifeguards to join our team at the Manluk Centre Wetaskiwin Regional Aquatics & Fitness. As a Lifeguard, you'll play a key part in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons. If you're certified and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years old
• Possession of current certifications - Lifesaving Society's National Lifeguard (NL), Alberta Workplace approved Intermediate First Aid (IFA), Lifesaving Society's Swim Instructor (SI) and Lifesaving Instructor (LSI) (asset)
• Ability to renew qualifications annually or as required
• Proof of certification and Lifesaving Society Member ID # submitted prior to being considered for position
• Criminal and vulnerable sector record check
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to perform aquatic rescues and first aid procedures
• Demonstrates commitment in continuous learning
• Can implement and respond to emergency situations and perform under stress
• Takes strong initiative, demonstrates creativity
• Is responsible, accountable and demonstrates integrity
