Recreation Aquatics - Lifeguard 2- Permanent Part-time

Join our team as a Recreation Aquatics - Lifeguard 2- Permanent Part-time at the Manluk Centre Wetaskiwin Regional Aquatics & Fitness. We are looking for experienced lifeguards who excel in communication and thrive in a team environment. Reporting directly to the Aquatic Coordinator, the Lifeguard II's priority is to ensure patrons have a safe, enjoyable experience through the provision of lifeguarding.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old
• Minimum 2 years lifeguarding experience
• Possession of the following current certifications – ability to renew qualifications annually or as required: Lifesaving Society’s National Lifeguard (NL), Alberta Workplace approved Intermediate First Aid (IFA), Lifesaving Society’s Swim Instructor (SI), Lifesaving Society’s Lifesaving Instructor (LSI), AARFP’s Pool operator 1 (considered an asset)
• Proof of certification and Lifesaving Society Member ID # submitted prior to being considered for position
• Minimum 2 years of lifeguarding experience
• Minimum 2 years of pool related experience and knowledge of pool operations
• Experience supervising staff considered an asset
