Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Citylitics is seeking a highly motivated software developer with experience in building full stack web applications to join their team in Toronto, Canada. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both backend and frontend technologies, capable of designing and implementing scalable and efficient systems, and have experience with data modeling, backend APIs, and integration in dynamic web frontends.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering (web applications, distributed systems, data platforms)
• Proficient in Django Rest Framework, React Query, Typescript, and other relevant technologies
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and identity governance
• Excellent technical communication and planning skills (design documentation, diagraming, cost/performance analysis)
• Organized and process-oriented, strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development life cycle
• Proficient with modern development/management tooling (AI Agents, VSCode, JIRA, Git & Unix, Cloud terminal, etc)
