Job Description
As an integral member of the Ottawa Fire Services’ emergency response team, Rural Firefighters provide emergency response services in order to protect the lives, property and environment for the citizens of and visitors to the City of Ottawa.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma OSSD (Grade 12) or academic equivalent diploma.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must live and/or work in close proximity to a rural fire station.
- Valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulated
