Summer Student - Park District Director

The Summer Student - Park District Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of multiple wading pools, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of patrons, and supervising staff. The role requires leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as experience working with children and youth.

Requirements

• Post-Secondary Student (completion of first year college or university)
• Minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years of related experience with Parks Wading Pool program or equivalent experience
• Current Standard First Aid, CPR-C and AED certificates
• AODA Accessibility/IASR Training
• National Lifeguard Pool certificate (asset)
• Lifesaving Swim Instructor certificate (asset)
• Lifesaving Instructor certificate (asset)

Benefits

• $21.323 - $24.300 per hour
