Job Description
The City of Ottawa is seeking a Vehicle and Equipment Technician 2 (310T Mechanics) to support its Fleet Services department. This full-time, 3-week permanent position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The position involves scheduled and emergency service, seasonal overhauls, vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repair work for a variety of Fleet Vehicles.
Requirements
- Completion of Truck and Coach Technician 310T apprenticeship program of 6720 hours
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within a Municipal Fleet or similar truck and coach environment
- Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as Truck and Coach Technician 310T
- Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as Motorcycle Technician 310G
- Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a Driver’s License (or equivalent)
- Present valid Skills Trade Ontario Account Number
