Job Description
Default Recovery Analyst is responsible for post-charge-off recovery of deposit and loan funds by collecting, skip tracing, and facilitating legal pursuit of debt when necessary. This role involves a systematic and strategic approach to collection of post-charge off debts.
Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience in consumer loan product collections, charge off collections, financial services or related field.
- Understanding of accounting principles and business financial statements and tax returns.
- Knowledge of credit procedures, policies, regulations and laws, including bankruptcy and consumer law.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment.
- Residency in the State of North Carolina, within their designated territory.
