The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for managing the ServiceNow platform and developing custom solutions to meet business needs. This role involves configuring and maintaining the platform, implementing updates and patches, and designing and developing workflows, scripts, and applications within ServiceNow. The Developer will also collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, improve the platform, and create comprehensive documentation.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of information technology experience
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer
- ITIL Foundation certifications or obtained within one year of employment
- Experience in configuring, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions
- Experience with automation using Flow Designer and Integration Hub (Workflow Data Fabric)
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM
- Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies
- Experience with ServiceNow integration using REST, SOAP APIs and middleware tools
- Familiarity with SQL, database concepts, data modeling, source control and update sets
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of project management, incident management, and change enablement principles
- Strong organizational skills
