Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer

Civic Marketplace is seeking a Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer to lead their engineering team and drive their technical roadmap. The successful candidate will have experience with full-stack development, leading teams, and shaping technical strategies. They will be responsible for developing a quality playbook for their teams, driving hiring and growth, and ensuring the team owns the operation of data, systems, and apps in production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a senior software engineer
• Full-stack development experience
• Leadership experience in driving technical strategies and teams
• Fluency in REACT, marketplaces, payment infrastructure, and hybrid approaches of custom, and no-code/low code app development
• Experience with techniques for leading projects and improving productivity
• Growth and leadership strategies, tactics, and scenarios
• Ability to drive resolution of critical issues, root cause analysis-driven actions
• Ability to develop and calibrate a thorough understanding of employees’ motivations, strengths, and growth opportunities
• Ability to establish goals and OKRs for the team and/or technical scope
• Ability to promote ownership and accountability, high I/O, learning and teaching, good decision making, and a push for very high standards
