Senior Software Engineer

Pave is building the industry's leading compensation platform, and we're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of pay. As a founding engineer, you'll play a key role in building elegant, enterprise-grade product experiences for top-tier companies like OpenAI and Atlassian. You'll help define the technical architecture, engineering patterns, and quality standards for the team, and work closely with Product and Design to shape the roadmap and priorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack experience building customer-facing web applications
• Strong product instincts with an ability to translate product requirements and user feedback into thoughtful technical decisions
• Strong execution skills and a high bar for engineering quality, testing, and reliability
• Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces, break complex work into concrete milestones, and stay focused on the highest-impact opportunities
• Collaborative technical leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Product, and Design, drive sound technical decisions, and bring others along through clear reasoning and good judgment
• Experience with our tech stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, GCP
